I spent valentines day with my sister in Derby, singing in our pyjamas and watching wonderfully bad telly programmes. We made a 'romantic meal' of pesto and rocket pasta, with blue cheese bruchettas....yum.
Me and Matt had to celebrate ours a day late, as our financial situations and lack of freedom got the better of us once again; But my lord it was a perfect evening.
We put our comfy clothes on as soon as I got there and had a full blown bed session. We exchanged our gifts; not much but just right for eachother. Alongside my favourite film of all time, Matt gave me the most adorable hand-made card I'd ever seen: On the front was a drawing of me and him holding hands outside of our dream home with a dog and a lovely garden, and in our other hands he held a plumbing tool and I held some hairdressing scissors.....I could have died. It has definitely earned it's place on my 'happy shelf'.

We watched a few episodes of Dexter whilst sharing a beautiful pizza and cookies, and then watched The Expendables. (Not exactly romantic but he sure does know how to make me a happy bunny!) We had kisses, cuddles, back massages and we got to spend a little bit of time with his little sister.
All in all it was an ordinary day; he's always very lovely and full of sweet gestures, but the day itself made me appreciate him just that little bit more...And his sexy new haircut is definitely working for me.
