Today it is my lover's 23rd birthday, and due to something silly, we had to celebrate early. When Matt nipped to the shops on Wednesday night, I took advantage of my free time and got out his surprise 'Jamaican ginger cake' and fabulous poundshop candles, sprinkled everywhere with Raindow Drops, and lay out his goodies topped with my greatest homemade card. I sat in the dark with the candles lit until he came running back in, looking shocked and extremely happy. It's something both simple and cheap, not to mention it looks like the work of a five year old, but he liked it and we've had a wonderful few days.
Needless to say, my diet has gone just a tad off the rails whilst we've been celebrating, but I am still very much at my target weight and feeling much, much happier.
