Dearest.

Yesterday we took a long and sweaty bus ride up to Matt's granny's house for the night. She's very ill at the minute and we like to go up, keep her company, make sure everything is clean and just spend some quality time with her.
After I cooked us all a scrummy Italian dinner, we went out with her for the first time on her new mobility scooter. She physically cannot get about by foot anymore and was too embarrassed and scared to go out on her own, so we eased her into it with a quick walk to the shops. This then kick-started her confidence and we spent the whole of this morning going out and about with her; and she loved every minute. We went and got BBQ ingredients, went to a lovely local pond to feed the ducks, and sat in the sunshine discussing what me and Matt are going to do when we give her garden a makeover this weekend.
 (Ignore the messy......everything)

Elaine really is such a unique and wonderful woman. Everytime I go round I hear some lovely stories about how she met Grandad when she was just a teenager and how she never wanted anybody since; even after him passing away in his 40s. It's nice to hear romantic fairytales and feel like i'm actually part of the family. The past two days have been fabulous for weather and company. Right now i'm finding it hard to find something to moan about. What is happening to me?
