+Brief update

We hosted our very first Halloween party on Saturday, which was a nice excuse to get out the spooky decorations, carve some pumpkins and make sure everyone was up to date with the house. It went much smoother than we thought and it turns out we're quite the hosts. Excellent!

We had one day after that to recover and make the house gleem before going to pick up the newest addition to our little family. Say hello to Pig Sharman, our fabulous Frenchie pup! 

I took this week off, so he had time to actually get to know who I am before I'm off to work long nights again. So pretty much since Monday we have done nothing but worship him, chill out, experiment with new recipes and kick our bums into gear in regards to decorating before Christmas. So far, the living room walls are done, sofa ordered, flooring ordered, bookcase ordered and Vintage wall ornaments put up. We don't have much left to do with the kitchen, and the bedroom needs a lick of paint and some more furniture....sorted. 

I'm 100% dreading getting back into the work routine again in a few days time, and leaving our little Piggy will just be heartbreaking; but I know this Christmas is going to be one to look forward to.
